Boston Apple fans line up for latest iPhone release
BOSTON (WHDH) -- People in Boston were lined up at the Boylston Street Apple Store, awaiting the company’s latest iPhone release - the iPhone 5c and 5s. Dozens camped out on the sidewalk to make sure they’d get their hands on one of the new phones Friday morning.
The store opened at 8 o’clock in the morning. There were some employees in there around 6a.m. getting ready for what was a very busy day.
“I got the new update that came out the other day, so it's almost like a new phone but it's not the newest,” one Apple fan said.
The latest iPhone release is a state-of-the-art phone with a fingerprint ID scanner. The iPhone 5s comes in three colors: gold, space grey and silver. The gold sold out online in half an hour.
The new iPhone 5s boasts a better processor and camera. The 5c contains some of the newer technology, but with a lower price tag and bright new colors.
Even with the older iPhones, you can get some of the look of the new iPhone and new technology by downloading the latest iOS 7 update.
