Transit police searching for Broadway vandals
SOUTH BOSTON, Mass. (WHDH) -- Transit police are searching for two men who did damaged the Broadway T-stop last month. Police say damage repair costs were over $1,400.
“You know that costs the taxpayers money now, so that’s unfortunate,” one woman said.
Surveillance video shows one of the suspects kicking down the front window of a customer service booth, and the pair also knocked over a barrel.
“These senseless acts of vandalism are not going to be tolerated. When they are captured, and they will be captured, they will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law,” said Deputy Chief Kenneth Green, transit police.
“That is messed up because I know one of the kids. He’s a good friend, I’m going to talk to him,” said Pat Kineavy.
Transit police say to give them a call if you have any information regarding the incident, and you can remain anonymous.
