Sean Collier's death mourned by hundreds
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (WHDH) -- Hundreds of people gathered to honor Officer Sean Collier’s life on the MIT campus Friday night.
The vigil, 6 months after his death at the hands of the marathon bombing suspects, was filled with family members, colleagues and other mourners.
“It’s nice to be here. Obviously we’re all pretty sad about it but a lot of friends and a lot of family are here so it’s nice. Every day is a flip of a coin as far as how we might be feeling. There are so many of us that some days are good and some days are bad for each one of us. It doesn’t really feel like six months. It feels like six days and six years at the same time,” Jen Rogers, Collier’s sister, said.
