Fire damages East Boston home

EAST BOSTON -- A home in East Boston went up in flames overnight Sunday.

Investigators say a small fire ignited in a kitchen on the third floor of a home on Faywood Avenue.

The fire was quickly contained.

No one was hurt and the building did not have to be evacuated.
