Man claims ex took kids to Egypt, wants them back

CANTON, Mass. -- A local father is claiming that his ex-wife kidnapped their children and took them to Egypt and he hasn't seen them since.
This father claimed the woman got fake passports to smuggle the boys into that country, and now he wants Hillary Clinton’s help.
For father Colin Bower, not seeing his two sons for the last year has been pure agony.
"It's terrible. It's heartbreaking. It's not describable," said Bower.
He's supposed to have sole custody of 9-year-old Noor, and 7-year-old Ramsay since his divorce in 2008. Instead, the father from Canton is boarding a train and traveling halfway across the world for the sixth time to get the boys back.
He said his ex-wife, who is an Egyptian national, took off with his sons after a court-approved visit last summer, and smuggled the children into her native country.
"My children were taken to Egypt illegally. They entered Egypt illegally on false passports and they should be returned home," said Bower.
He said Interpol had listed their mother as a wanted woman for international kidnapping, and state courts in Massachusetts called her a flight risk. But still she boarded an international flight at Logan with his kids.
Bower set up a Facebook page that now has almost 1,700 followers urging people to contact the State Department.
The story has even grabbed the attention of Senator John Kerry who said, "I have conveyed my concerns over this matter to both the State Department and the Egyptian government over the last year. I hope that the involvement of the U.S. government can help bring this tragedy to its rightful conclusion by reuniting these boys with their father.”
"I am hopeful that at some point this will be the last step and Noor and Ramsey will home here in America where they belong," Bower said.
Bower hopes Senator Clinton will raise the issue when the Egyptian delegation visits Washington, D.C. on Wednesday.
