Government Center MBTA getting $72M facelift

BOSTON -- The Government Center MBTA stop is getting a $72 million facelift.

The Boston Herald reports the brick bunker-like entrance will be replaced with a three-story glass tower.

The upgrades also include two more elevators and new platforms.

The renovated "T" stop is expected to be completed by 2015.
