Police identify Milton body as missing NC teen

MILTON, Mass. -- Police identified the young man who was found dead in Milton as 16-year-old Delvonte Tisdale of Charlotte, NC.

Tisdale’s body was found mangled in the middle of the street in Milton on Monday.

Massachusetts State Police collected a fingerprint from one of the victim’s belongings and were able to match it with a print from the body.

A note found in Tisdale’s pocket looked like it said “Delonte Tisdale.” Police connected the note to a missing person’s case out of North Carolina.

Massachusetts police traveled to North Carolina this week to continue the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the young man’s death.
