MBTA driver: Misjudged turn, hit booth

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- An MBTA bus misjudged a turn and hit an inspector’s booth, injuring an employee on Friday.

The accident occurred in Central Square in Cambridge. MBTA officials said there were no passengers on the bus when it hit the booth on Friday morning - the bus was out of service.

Authorities said the driver behind the wheel of the bus was unharmed while the employee in the booth was taken to the hospital with neck and back pain, she is still being evaluated.

The driver said he misjudged the turn.
