Thousands turn out for Avon Walk for Breast Cancer

BOSTON -- The ninth annual Avon Walk for Breast Cancer kicked off at UMass Boston Saturday morning.
More than 2,000 participants will walk either a marathon or half marathon to support the ongoing search for a cure.
The event will last until Sunday afternoon.
The walkers raised $5.2 million to support the cause.
