Report: Bulger talked about visiting Mexico

BOSTON -- James “Whitey” Bulger may have talked to authorities about his time on the run, according to reports.

According to the Boston Globe, Bulger told FBI agents that he and his girlfriend, Catherine Greig, frequently made trips to Mexico to buy heart medication.

Bulger reportedly told the agents he used fake IDs and walked right across the border.

Multiple sources report that Bulger also took a big risk and traveled to the famous Alcatraz prison.

Bulger spent time behind bars in Alcatraz, but returned as a tourist with Greig.

The pair even reportedly took pictures together behind bars.

The building where Bulger and Greig lived in for 15 years has now become a hot tourist spot.

The now vacant apartment, number 303, is also being swarmed by prospective tenants.

However, the rent-controlled monthly cost will reportedly jump from just more than $1,100 a month to around $2,500.
