Green Line extension pushed back

BOSTON -- The extension of the Green Line has been pushed back by at least three more years.

Service on the Somerville and Medford line is now not scheduled to begin until 2018.

The extension may not be completed until 2020.

MassDOT and the MBTA are looking to see if there are any ways to complete the extension by an earlier date.
