AG to investigate Cahill, lottery ads

BOSTON -- Investigators for Attorney General Martha Coakley are scheduled to meet with seven lottery executives today.
According to the Globe, interviews will be held at the state lottery offices.
Investigators are looking into the $1.65 million lottery ad campaign that former treasurer Tim Cahill ran during his run for governor last year.
The attorney general's office is trying to determine whether Cahill used the ads to boost his gubernatorial campaign.
Cahill’s attorney says he is sure the review will find his client did not break any rules.
