Flea infestation found at Malden DPW

MALDEN, Mass. -- A serious flea infestation is causing problems for Malden city workers.

The Department of Public Works was found to be crawling with the bugs.

Employees were given the option to go home early Monday so exterminators could fumigate the building.

Authorities say a raccoon may have snuck in at one point, unwittingly bringing the fleas with it.
