Congressman offers striking Verizon workers support

BOSTON -- Congressman Michael Capuano is offering striking Verizon workers a show of support.
"I think we've gone too far in killing the middle class. Most of the Verizon workers I think would earn enough money to be considered solid middle class citizens and it’s got to stop. The company’s a good company. The company has made a profit. I’m a customer - I have no problems with the company - but when they make a good profit they need to share it with the workers in a fair and reasonable way," said Rep. Michael Capuano.
Verizon is now claiming in a court action that striking workers are harassing workers still on the job.
