BOSTON -- Gisele Bundchen took some time over the weekend to practice model behavior with a special group of young women.

Girls who were all patients at the Jimmy Fund Clinic at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute were treated to a fun-filled weekend. They had the party in full swing when Gisele arrived, but she was definitely the main event.

Young cancer patients got the thrill of a lifetime when supermodel Gisele Bundchen decided to pay them a surprise visit. The patients enjoyed the weekend on the town. One of the lucky girls was 15-year-old Hannah Baiona of Braintree, who was treated for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and is now in remission. She couldn’t have been happier about her chance-encounter with Gisele and was still reeling from the experience when 7News caught up with her.

“I was like ‘Oh my God,’ I started to tear up. I was like, so excited. It was crazy ‘cause I’ve never really met any celebrities and stuff, so I was really excited,” said Baiona.

The supermodel spent time with each and every girl, posing for photos and teaching them how to strut their stuff. Check out the video above from the Boston Herald.

“Me and my friend Sarah didn’t want to go alone, so we asked her if she’d walk down with us. So, she walked arm-in-arm with us down the catwalk. She was very nice. She was really sweet and compassionate to all the girls and she gave us each a rose and a hug, and we all got to take pictures with her. It was really nice,” said Baiona.

It was a day Hannah will never forget.

“The rose that she gave me, I think I’m going to keep it, and dry it and put it into a frame so I’ll be able to remember it forever,” said Baiona.

Gisele rearranged her international schedule to make sure she could take part in that event.
