Newton school says no to Valentine's Day candy

NEWTON, Mass. -- There will be no love for candy at one school in newton this Valentine's Day.

Horace Mann Elementary is asking parents to refrain from sending candy to school with their children for the holiday.

School officials say the treats run counter to the school's no-sharing food policy as well as an every-day emphasis on healthy eating.
