Former Pats bring Super Bowl spirit to Children's Hospital

BOSTON -- The young patients at Children’s Hospital in Boston got a Super Bowl surprise on Thursday.
Former New England Patriots player Joe Andruzzi and other past players visited the hospital with some Super Bowl spirit.
They decorated hospital windows and rooms in support of the Patriots.
Although Andruzzi is rooting for the Pats, the does have a connection to New York. He has three brothers, all of whom are members of the New York City fire department and responded to the Sept. 11 attacks.
Andruzzi says he is happy he was able to bring some joy and Patriots spirit to the hospital.
Andruzzi earned three Super Bowl rings with New England. In 2007, he was diagnosed with cancer and was forced to retire after 10 years on the field.
