Jury selected for Boston quadruple slaying trial
BOSTON -- Jury selection for the murder trial of two men accused taking part in the killings of a toddler and three adults during a drug robbery in Boston has been completed.
The 16 jurors are scheduled on Thursday to visit the site of the Sept. 2010 killings in the city's Mattapan neighborhood.
The selection of 12 jurors and four alternates was completed Wednesday.
Dwayne Moore and Edward Washington are charged with first-degree murder in the shooting that took the lives of 21-year-old Eyanna Flonory and her 2-year-old son, Amani Smith; 21-year-old Simba Martin; and 22-year-old LeVaughn Washum-Garrison. A fifth victim received serious injuries and is now paralyzed.
Prosecutors say Moore shot the victims after Washington and Moore went to Martin's home to steal drugs and money. They have pleaded not guilty.
