Cab driver attacked, stabbed in Boston's South End

BOSTON (WHDH) -- A cab driver is in critical condition this morning after police say he was attacked and stabbed multiple times in Boston’s South End.

Despite the seriousness of his injuries, officials say the driver is expected to survive. Police have two suspects in custody but have not released their names.

It was not immediately clear what charges they would face.

The driver works for Independent Taxi, which includes 400 independent cabs in the Boston area.
