Weeds hurt visibility in search for Mass. student

BOSTON (AP) -- Authorities say a body in a Massachusetts reservoir was found in a heavily weeded area that limited visibility when divers searched in recent weeks for a missing Boston College student.
The parents of the student, Franco Garcia, say it was his body that police pulled from the reservoir near campus Wednesday, seven weeks after he was last seen.
Garcia's parents say authorities found his wallet in his pocket and recovered the 21-year-old's eyeglasses. Authorities say an autopsy will be performed to seek more information about the circumstances of the death and to confirm that the remains are Garcia's.
Family are to attend a church service in Garcia's memory at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Waltham.
A school spokesman says grief counselors will be available on campus for students.
