Gov. Patrick's eldest daughter hospitalized

BOSTON (AP) -- Gov. Deval Patrick's oldest daughter, Sarah, has been hospitalized after becoming ill and temporarily disoriented while at dinner.

An aide to Patrick says Sarah is in stable condition and will remain in the hospital Tuesday for observation and additional tests.

Patrick has canceled his schedule for the day to join his daughter and his wife at the hospital.

Last year Patrick officiated at the marriage of Sarah and Marco Morgese at the Patrick family's vacation home in Richmond, Mass.

The governor and his wife also have a younger daughter, Katherine.
