Kittens found in zipped plastic bag now in foster care

BOSTON (WHDH) -- Five kittens found in a zipped up plastic bag are now in foster care.

The Animal Rescue League says a person found cats in a plastic bag on a doorstep in Dorchester. The person put them in a laundry basket with blankets.

The animals were not hurt, but require special care because they are only about 3 weeks old.

The cats need to be about 8 weeks old before they are put up for adoption.
