BOSTON (AP) -- The Boston Bar Association says it will provide 55 students from Boston's public high schools with paid summer internships, an all-time high since the program began with 16 jobs in 1993.
The Boston Bar Foundation provided a $35,000 grant for the program, which will permit 10 students to get paid internships involving public interest work at legal services and in government.
The bar association summer jobs program is conducted in partnership with the Boston Private Industry Council and the Boston Public School Department.
