Squirt, a 3-year-old male Yorkie/Poodle mix, is as friendly and easy going as he is adorable!
This gray and black boy arrived at the MSPCA-Angell Adoption Center in Boston on May 21 because his owners couldn’t take care of him anymore. Unfortunately for Squirt, he arrived with some health issues: he tested positive for Lyme Disease (which is increasingly common due to the huge increase in ticks and the diseases they carry) and he has a fractured tooth that needs to be pulled.
The MSPCA is treating his Lyme disease and will ensure that any potential adopters have enough medicine to complete the course of treatment that typically cures the disease. The MSPCA is hoping that a special adopter will step up and provide the minor dental work he’ll need before he goes to a permanent loving home.
Squirt is available now for adoption. To learn more about him -- as well as other dogs, cats, birds and other small animals available for adoption at the MSPCA -- click here.
