Celtics fans excited for series against Miami Heat

BOSTON (WHDH) -- The last time the Celtics faced the Miami Heat in the playoffs it did not go the C’s way. Fans are hoping this time around is different.

Coming off of Saturday night’s Game 7 win at TD Garden, Celtics fans are confident their team will prevail over the Heat.

Boston fans say they’ve moved on from last year’s loss to Miami in the semi finals.

“This is the year we will win it. I believe so,” said Brandon Mendez, a Celtics fan. “I have my confidence there. We’re going to get that banner.”

“I think it’s going to be a rough series. I think if we can steal one of the first two games in Miami we got a good chance to win the whole thing,” said Kevin Crotty, a C’s fan.

“I think the key is Rondo exposing their defense and just making our offense work will go a lot smoother. I don’t think they can defend against Rondo as well as they think they can,” said Colin Morgan, a Celtics fan.

Celtics fans say they aren’t expecting an easy series, but they are certain their team can come out victorious.
