Deaths in Boston apartment fire ruled homicides

BOSTON (AP) -- The deaths of two people in a South Boston apartment fire have been ruled homicides.
Firefighters responded to the blaze in the third-floor apartment just after 3 a.m. on Sunday and discovered the victims inside.
They were transported to the medical examiner's office.
Authorities say they had been stabbed. The police identified the victims as 70 year old Richard Hallahan and 54 year old Diane Bourglas.
They did not disclose a possible motive.
The police are seeking information from the public.
