BOSTON (WHDH) -- Boston rolled out the red carpet Saturday for some well known Hollywood stars.
The bright lights of Hollywood turned into the bright lights of Fenway as Adam Sandler, Maya Rudolph and Oliver Hudson appeared at the Boston premiere of ‘That's My Boy.’
“I just love all of New England, reminds me of growing up,” Sandler said.
Shot around the Boston area, including Lynn, Brockton and Cape Cod, the film stars Sandler and Andy Samberg as father and son reuniting.
Sandler's not done with New England yet; the Hollywood star is now shooting ‘Grown-ups 2.’
“I'm shooting a movie right now out in Marblehead, and I don't know -- it just makes me feel comfortable, reminds me of the way I grew up and kids are all nice and families are all cool,” Sandler said.
Other stars from ‘Grown-Ups 2’ also came out for the screening, which was held for the cast and crew of ‘That's My Boy.’
“It's always nerve-wracking when you go to an area and you sort of invade their town,” Rudolph said. “And this area could not be nicer and more generous.”
“My wife's family lives here, they're in the Cape,” Hudson said. “So we'll go to the Cape, and we'll do all that. And we'll catch a game at Fenway, bring the kids to Fenway.”
The world premiere of the movie was last week in Los Angeles. ‘That's My Boy’ opens nationwide in theaters this Friday.
