Thousands participate in Cops for Kids with Cancer

CANTON, Mass. (WHDH) -- A check for $25,000 was presented to Cops for Kids with Cancer on Sunday.
Over 1,200 runners participated in its inaugural 5K race, and over 100 people volunteered.
Halfway Cafe handed out slap bands at the halfway point that runners can use throughout the summer to come in and get half of wings until Labor Day.
Everyone from elite runners to families with strollers participated.
There was a post party with three bands and high profile sponsors such as Sam Adams, Marshall's, Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt, and many others who helped make this event of over 3,000 people a success.
