Pet of the Week: Vixxie the Dog

One-year-old Vixxie is looking for a new home because her family moved away and decided not to take her. 

This playful young girl is the perfect family dog -- save for some minor neurological issues that affect her balance and coordination.  She loves to play fetch; knows how to ring a bell on a door when she needs to go out; and knows lots of basic commands such as “sit,” “stay,” “drop it,” and “come.”  She is currently living at the MSPCA-Nevins Farm in Methuen, Mass.

Hours of operation are Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The Adoption Center is closed on Mondays and on Holidays.
