BOSTON (WHDH) -- State officials are reversing the ban on tech-friendly car service, “Uber”.
The state's division of standards had issued a "cease and desist notice" on "Uber".
The company uses an iPhone app, to request a pick-up and to track the location of the driver.
That device isn't approved by the state to figure out the cost of a ride.
It’s now been ruled that the company is currently not out of compliance with state law, and is free to continue operating.
