Menino, Police Commissioner hold town meeting

BOSTON (WHDH) -- Mayor Menino is asking for people for help as police investigate the quadruple shooting in Dorchester over the weekend.
The mayor and Boston Police Commissioner, Ed Davis, held a town meeting last night to update residents on the investigation.
Police said someone shot four young women Sunday, killing three.
The mayor insists the city is working to keep all people safe.
"This was a bad weekend, no question about it. But overall the summer has been a pretty good summer for us when it comes to violence. Violence is actually down in the city this summer compared to the previous summer but one homicide is one homicide too many," said Menino.
Approximately 200 people attended Wednesday’s meeting.
Officers say they have significant leads at this point but no arrest has been made.
