BOSTON (AP) -- A Boston man has pleaded guilty to starting four fires that prosecutors say were set to settle grudges.

Jose Baez pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court on Wednesday to four counts of arson.

Federal authorities say the 40-year-old Baez started a fire at a Whole Foods Market in Cambridge in December 2008 after quitting his job there in a dispute with management.

He was also accused of setting fires at a city auto body shop in July 2009 and at a dental practice in August 2010, businesses with which he had billing disputes.

He was also charged with setting a fire at a Roslindale home in August 2010. He reportedly had a disagreement with some residents there.

He faces up to 40 years in prison at sentencing Nov. 29.
