PrintBicyclist killed, struck by truck in Dorchester
DORCHESTER, Mass. (WHDH) -- A 63-year-old man was killed in an accident, on Morrissey Boulevard, in Dorchester.
State Police said the man was out riding his bike just after midnight when the truck hit him.
The driver of the pick up truck stopped and called 911 but emergency crews were unable to revive the bicyclist, who was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver of the truck was taken to Boston Medical Center, for evaluation.
At this point, he is not facing any charges.
The victims name has not been released.
