MSPCA-Nevins Farm's Pet of the Week: Hoops the Cat

Hoops, a gorgeous 8-year-old female cat, has been bunking down at the MSPCA-Nevins Farm for several months now. A sweet and friendly cat, Hoops never misses a chance to say “hello” to anyone who walks by her cage. She loves to spend one-on-one time with visitors to the Adoption Center -- giving lots of kitty head-butts and looking right into the eyes of those who talk to her. 

She is quite playful and loves cat nip and chase toys. She would be a perfect pet for a family who wants an affectionate kitty who is playful but not too needy.  Hoops doesn’t seem to jive well with other cats or dogs -- and prefers to be the only pet in the house. But she’s great with older kids. She is spayed and in terrific health and ready to go home today!

The MSPCA-Nevins Farm Adoption Center is located at 400 Broadway in Methuen, Mass. Hours of operation are Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
