1 killed, 2 hurt in Dorchester shooting

BOSTON (WHDH) -- One person was killed and two others were critically injured in a shooting in Dorchester Monday night.

The shooting occurred on Park Street near Field’s Corner.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other victims were transported to Boston Medical Condition where they are listed in critical condition, but are expected to survive.

According to police, one of the surviving victims suffered a throat wound and the other suffered a stomach wound.

Boston police officers were on Dakota Street when they heard 12 shots. They arrived on scene, but the suspect or suspects had already fled.

Police have not made any arrests.
