Boston

What: Zoo Howl at the Franklin Park Zoo
When: Oct. 27-28
Cost: Contact the zoo for details. Hay rides provided by Pine Meadow Farm and cost $2 per person/three people for $5.

What: Ghosts and Graveyards Tours
When: Through October
Cost: Adults - $39.90; Seniors, students military - $36.75; Children - $25.20. There is a discount for buying tickets online.

What: Grave Undertakings: Death in Boston by Boston by Foot Tour

Cost: $20 for adults, $15 for children. Online and other discounts available.

Framingham

What: Hanson's Haunted Hayride
When: Friday and Saturday nights in October, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Cost: Contact the farm for details, group rates available.

Hull

What: Spooktacular Halloween Costume Party
When: Oct. 28, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Natick

What: Spooktacular on the Common
When: Oct. 27, 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Norton

What: Winslow Farm child-friendly and adult-only haunted trails
When: Weekends throughout October
Cost: Children-friendly haunted trails - $10 for adults, $5 for children;  Adults only haunting in the woods - $13

Quincy

What: The Haunted Ship at the USS Salem
When: Weekends and some additional days in October. Tours begin after 10 p.m.
