SOUTH BOSTON (WHDH) -- A woman fell onto the tracks at the Broadway T station in South Boston Saturday.
Video captured the woman plunging onto the tracks. It appeared as though she wasn’t aware there were tracks in front of her.
Witnesses say the 29-year-old woman appeared to be stumbling and nodding before she fell onto the tracks. A witness jumped into help.
“I’ve seen people run across in stations where you can get across to the other side. I’ve seen people get in fights and push somebody in there and have them climb out,” said Shimone Rura, MBTA rider.
A transit officer who was on the scene said the woman was conscious when she was transported to Tufts Medical Center.
