ROXBURY, Mass. (WHDH) -- Boston Police warned people after two teenagers were assaulted in lower Roxbury.

Police said a man grabbed a 17-year-old girl by her neck on Monday evening, but she was able to get away.

Investigators said another teenager -- perhaps as young as 14 years old -- was grabbed Tuesday night. The suspect told the teen he had a gun. Police said he tried to drag her to a secluded but she fought him off and escaped.

Boston Police released a sketch of the suspect, hoping someone would recognize him.

Police believe both attacks are related.

News of the attacks has put people in the community on edge.

“It is scary and I was thinking about that as I walk around here,” said Caroline Swetlitz.

“Due to the fact that I run a youth program, I’m worried -- very concerned,” one man said.

“I try to be aware that I’m a woman walking around at night but it’s always a little scary,” one woman said.

Police have yet to comment on any possible injuries the victims may have sustained in the attacks.

Police say the suspect is described to be about 25 years old.

No arrested have been made in either attack. Anyone who has information is urged to call police.
