Fire in Cambridge triple-decker kills one

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (WHDH) -- An early morning fire in a Cambridge triple-decker killed a man.
The fire broke out on the third floor of a triple-decker on Columbia Street. The man, in his 50s, lived on the third floor. The bottom two floors were occupied by two families. Both families were able to get out unharmed.
Crews found the body of one person on that third floor just before one o'clock Tuesday morning.
The name of the victim had not been released at the time.
Flames were contained to the third floor but the other two floors did suffer smoke and water damage.
It was not known how many people have been displaced by the fire.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
Crews investigated throughout the morning.
