Earl of Sandwich opens on Boston Common

BOSTON (WHDH) -- There's a new place to grab lunch if you're on Boston Common. The Earl of Sandwich opened Monday.

City councilors and other state officials joined owner Robert Earl for a ribbon cutting.

The restaurant chain completed renovations of the interior of the Pink Palace, a former bathroom not used since the 1970's. The area is now used as a kitchen for the restaurant.
