BOSTON (WHDH) -- Unfortunately, no one's waking up a newly-minted multi-millionaire from the big lottery in the Bay State - but there is still good news for some Massachusetts residents.

The winning numbers from last night's drawing were: 5, 16, 22, 23, 2, and the Powerball number was 6.

Powerball officials said one winning ticket was sold in Arizona and the other in Missouri.

The grand prize reached nearly $580 million, a new Powerball record.

The good news for people in Massachusetts: Four tickets worth a million dollars each were sold in the Bay State.

To win that million-dollar prize, you need to match the first five numbers -- even if you miss the Powerball.

Wednesday night’s prize was still far short of the U.S. Lottery record which was set in March when MegaMillions reached $650 Million.
