Mass. DOT introduces real-time I-93 smartphone app

BOSTON (WHDH) -- The Department of Transportation introduced a new smartphone app Friday.

The new app gives real-time updates for the I-93 corridor.

The Real Time Travel App, ‘RTTM’, will display color-coded, current travel times on I-93 for drivers heading to and from Boston.

The app was created by a Boston-based transportation IT service company and is available for iPhone and Windows phone platforms.
