Father, sons deliver presents to Brigham and Women's

BOSTON (WHDH) -- Patients at Brigham and Women's Hospital are getting a special delivery this Christmas.

Jim Nentwig and dozens of volunteers are delivering thousands of presents to the patients.

Nentwig said the tradition began more than 30 years ago.

He and his sons brought gifts to his dying wife in the hospital.

"The reason we go there is, 31 years ago, my wife was there at Christmas, and she was just 40 years old, and my three sons, we knew that was going to be her last Christmas so we decided to make the best of it."

Every year since, Nentwig and his sons have delivered presents in her honor.

This year they filled up two boxes full of gifts.
