Truck catches fire in O'Neill Tunnel

BOSTON (WHDH) -- Traffic was back to normal Tuesday following a truck fire in the O’Neill tunnel Monday.
Surveillance video shows the truck coming to a stop in the tunnel, after it caught fire.
Crews arrived on scene to put out the flames.
The truck fire happened on the southbound side of the tunnel.
It caused massive backups on I-93.
Firefighters used the tunnel's ventilation system to remove the smoke.
Once the smoke was clear, crews were able to get the entire roadway open again.
