Mayor Menino stops at City Hall for staffers' send-off

BOSTON (WHDH) -- Mayor Menino, on his road to recovery, made an appearance in Boston.

He was at City Hall to attend a farewell party for one of his staffers yesterday.

The mayor has slowly been returning to work and continuing physical therapy.

He was hospitalized back in November for a variety of ailments.

He said, he's already feeling better.

"I feel as better now than I have in nine ten months. Another thing I have to work on is my PT, is I am able to walk as quickly as I like to and some certain things,” said Mayor Menino.

Mayor Menino was released from the hospital just in time to spend Christmas with his family.
