MBTA may cancel contract with firm building rail cars

BOSTON (WHDH) -- The MBTA is considering canceling its contract with the South-Korean firm hired to build double-decker rail cars.
According to the Globe, the T may look for another firm.
The MBTA currently has a $190-million contract with Hyundai Rotem but the agency isn't satisfied with constant delays and the quality of workmanship.
The MBTA hopes the double-decker rail cars* will help with recent service delay issues.
