BROOKLINE, Mass. (WHDH) -- A Brookline town official is hounding writer Dennis Lehane about the flyers for his missing beagle.
Lehane has until Monday to pull down all the posters.
The Brookline Public Works Commissioner said there's a town bylaw that prohibits the flyers.
They said the hundreds of posters have been up for two weeks, and that's enough.
Lehane's 4-year old dog Tessa disappeared on Christmas Eve.
