BOSTON (WHDH) -- Here comes winter.
Clouds will move into the area on Monday with some patchy light snow and flurries along the coast after 5 p.m. High temperatures will be from 25 to 30 degrees with a light southwest wind a 3 to 6 miles-per hour.
Light snow and flurries will become steady along the coast after midnight. One to four inches of snow can be expected by Tuesday morning.
Fluffy snow will fall on Tuesday: 1 to 3 inches inland, 3-5 inches on the North Shore, South Shore and the Cape. Over 5 inches of snow is possible on Cape Ann, Cape Cod and the New Hampshire coast. Temperatures will fall from the 20’s to the 10’s by the afternoon.
