Women accused of robbing Brighton bank

BOSTON -- Two women accused of robbing a Brighton bank are behind bars Tuesday night.

Police said Lisa Sims and Awa Ly, both 44 years old from Dorchester, allegedly robbed the Sovereign Bank on Market Street in Brighton Tuesday afternoon.

The two women allegedly demanded money, but were not armed. The teller handed over the cash along with a dye pack that burst in the bag.

They will face a judge Wednesday.
