Hedge-fund manager barred from hotel

BOSTON -- A Cambridge hedge-fund manager may have found the key to trouble.
A judge ordered 47-year-old Richard Grubman, Jr. to stay away from the Ritz-Carlton Hotel on the Boston Common.
The order comes after Grubman allegedly threw his car keys at a valet, cutting that valet's face.
Witnesses say Grubman then threw a fit when that valet tried to move the silver BMW from a resident-only parking area.
Grubman is due in court at the end of the month.
